Pain & Inflammation Relief
For Rheumatism:
The painful area is massaged with onion steam and olive oil before bedtime. This is done by cutting a large onion and boiling it in a pot of water. The affected area is placed over the rising steam, followed by massage using olive oil.In the morning, take a small spoon of dried thyme mixed with honey, about the size of a small cup, daily for one week.
For Bruises and Contusions:
Onion juice is mixed with an equal amount of camphor oil. This mixture is applied to the affected area in the morning and evening, while avoiding movement and strain of the injured part.
For Headaches:
Grated onion is boiled with ground clove and mixed with olive oil to form a paste. Once cooled and settled, the oil is extracted and gently massaged onto the forehead where the pain is felt.Additionally, a spoonful of the mixture can be taken orally before bedtime. This remedy helps relieve headaches and naturally strengthens the nervous system, God willing.
